More NAN pictures

Here are a few more pictures from NAN. Up first is Willowmoor Prince owned by Melissa Sage winning a Top Ten ribbon in the Custom Saddleseat class.Melissa also showed Pianissimo in the Original Finish Other English class where he was an overwhelming winner placing first on two judges' cards and second on the other! The Reserve Champion in the Original Finish Other English class was Magnificante owned by Shannon Granger. Tiffany told me a funny story about this particular entry. I'm quoting the email because I am too lazy to rewrite it: So here's the story--Shannon had an OF qualified but she wasn't going to enter it because she didn't think her tack was really nice. I told her to go ahead, I would set it up in my awesome Buxton tack. So we get there and the horse keeps falling over. He actually fell on the floor so we are just busting a gut. With like a pound of wax on his base I finally get him to stand, but have redone the reins 5 times since every time he fell they would get messed up. After all that he gets reserve!
I suppose there are two morals to this story. The first is persistence pays off. The second is that performance showing is tough, even for experienced showers like Tiffany. If you want to show performance, you better have a lot of patience and a good sense of humor!
