NaMoPaiMo showcase: Sondra Householder

Sondra Householder has been an outstanding member of the NaMoPaiMo community since the event's inception in 2017.

As a token of my appreciation, I sent her one of the best prizes of the 2020 season: a Fazan resin sculpted and donated by Anna Dobrowolska-Oczko of Horse And Bird Studio.

I was absolutely delighted when Sondra chose Fazan - who is shown here with Sondra's Minis Painting Minis character, Chartreuse Man - to be her 2022 NaMoPaiMo model.

Painting started on February 4...

and yesterday, Sondra proclaimed, "I did it!"

She writes: I try not to judge outward appearance pretty much ever…but this little guy has an unfortunate face, realistic and accurate, yes, but homely. He is not something I would have chosen for myself. Lucky for me, Jennifer put him in my prize box in 2020! 

In the time I’ve spent with him this month, I have grown to love his sweet personality, and “interesting” oozes from his every pore. It was a pleasure and honor to bring the little fella to life. 

He will be a cherished member of my show string. May I introduce, Maestoso Praemium.

Thank you, Sondra, for once again embodying the spirit of NaMoPaiMo. I am so glad I sent you little Maestoso Praemium. You were the perfect person to bring him to life.
