Holiday horses

We really wanted snow, so we waited and waited until we just couldn't wait anymore.

Yesterday, we staged our second consecutive warm weather, Christmas photo shoot at the barn.

This year's prop was a small Christmas tree.

Doodle

We placed it on top of a barrel and encouraged each horse to interact with it in whatever manner they saw fit.

Most of the horses were very well behaved...

but a few landed themselves on Santa's naughty list.
