It's a girl!

As I went into the big barn at Big Iron Ranch yesterday, I couldn't help but notice that Pistol had moved into the first stall.  

I rushed to the door and peeked in hoping to see...  BABY!

Just a few hours old... 

and oh, so cute! 

This is Pistol's first baby, but so far she's handling motherhood like an old pro. 

"Now if I could just remember where I found that milk..." 

Oh well, she'll figure it out eventually! 

And just in case anyone is interested, here's a look at the proud papa.  His name is Hot Ina Flash.  

There's one more expectant mother at Big Iron, but she's not a horse...  Still, I have a feeling that baby pot belly pigs will be almost as cute as Pistol's little palomino!
