Lost and found

Good news! Sheila's saddle is no longer missing in action. Instead it is safe and sound here on my workbench. Today I will add the stirrups and girth. Tomorrow I will start on the bridle and hopefully it will be in Sheila's hand by the end of the week. I am eager to send it on its way. This saddle has caused me way too much grief! While I was looking for Sheila's saddle I found another saddle that I hadn't even realised was missing.
James made this saddle several years ago during his short-lived tackmaking phase. Honestly I think he was more interested in playing with my tools than he was in actually making tack. No matter. It was fun while it lasted.
I helped him attach the stirrups to the leathers. Other than that, this saddle is all James and I think it's pretty nifty!
