Hobby New Year

Olive aside, 2022 wasn't a particularly good year, but at least, it ended on a high note. After my fun ride yesterday, I headed over to Heather's house to ring in the new year with my hobby buddies.

There was lots of food...

and lots of jello shots.

The main attractions, however, were the model horses...

and the cats.

We unboxed Heather's Anamar and his little buddy...

and spent some time exploring her shelves.

And look at these new additions! The venti Valor was customized by Angelo and painted by Stephanie Blaylock. The Emilia Kurila Ukka was finished by Cynthia Wyatt Briley.

Heather and Josh now own six cats, the newest and youngest of which is little Triana, who we first met at Heather's Eerie Equine Live show.

We ate too much food, played with the cats, watched tv and talked and talked.

This was such a good way to usher in the new year.

I hope 2023 will be a fabulous year for everyone I know. Certainly it's off to a good start.
