NaMoPaiMo day twenty one

This morning I woke up and Piper was sleeping between Seth and I, which is usual, but under the covers, which is not. My initial reaction was, "Wow, she is really spoiled!" but I quickly realized that she was actually really cold. The furnace had quit during the night, and our house was frigid.

That was the beginning of a very long, very tiring, very expensive day. Happily, it's ending better than it started: The house is warm again and I am officially on vacation until the middle of next week. Hurray!
17 outside, 61 inside. I'll take it.
Still, it's been a long day, a long week and a long month. I am tired. I have not looked at the NaMoPaiMo page today, and I do not have the energy to choose a Champion of the Day. I promise I'll make up for it tomorrow, but for now, bed beckons. Hopefully, tonight Piper will stay on top of the covers.

    I think Anne Field should be the champion of the day. She finished her model today and has been having a really hard month (or two). She deserves some major encouragement, and NaMoPaiMo champion is just the way to do it. :D

    I agree that Anne Field should be the champ, she is so awesome! So are you Jennifer. Both of you are such pillars to our hobby. Feel warmer!
