NaMoPaiMo day twenty

For the past six years, today's NaMoPaiMo Champion of the Day, Heather Jackson-Lain, has been one of this event's most loyal and enthusiastic supporters. Every year, she is awesome, and every year, she paints an awesome horse.
This year looked like it was right on track to be more of the same.
Then, a few days ago, disaster struck. Heather posted this picture with the caption: Well that's not gone well. This may be the year I don't finish.
Well, failure is always an option. Some models are not meant to be painted in twenty eight days. That's okay, but still, it made me sad to think about a winners' collage without a Heather horse in it. So I was really glad when she rallied and posted these pictures today.
Heather writes: Honestly if I had time, I would strip her and start over. But since I don't, I gave her a good bath and reassessed. I sanded off some layers and am back to work. Her forelock is still missing in action, but I will keep going. I WILL finish her. Bonus I cleaned up my work space while for hunting her missing forelock.
That's the spirit, Heather. I know you can do it, and also, I still haven't found my pony's forelock. Do you want to come over and help me clean my workspace? Congratulations and good job to everyone who worked on their models - or cleaned their workspaces - today. I can't wait to see what we all do tomorrow!
