Fifteen years ago, I had the big idea of starting a blog to promote my model horse tack business. In a short lived burst of enthusiasm, I created a Blogspot account, uploaded a single photo and wrote one lonely, little post. And that was that for more than a year.
In the last fourteen years, I have written four thousand six hundred and thirty three posts, not counting this one.
The tack business is long gone, and the blog is mostly a personal journal of my life with horses - big and small. I'm no longer promoting anything, except maybe the model horse hobby itself.
It's a labor of love, but also, sometimes, actual labor.
In March 2021, I added a Ko-fi button to the sidebar of my blog and encouraged readers to "buy me a coffee."Eventually, I also added a subscription option to my Ko-fi page.
Aside from my undying gratitude, there isn't much in the way of subscriber benefits. Still, I can honestly say the Braymere blog would not exist in its current format without the support of Carly, Lisa, Erika, Kenzie, Tina, Kim, Jes, Robbie, Anne, Caroline, Tiffany, Maggie, Catherine, Burning Embers, Lindsay, Teresa, Jeni, KBru, Anne, Elizabeth, Mary Ann, Lynn, Michelle, Fabian, Jackie, Andrea, Lesli, Kim, Hannah, Heather, Elaine, Marianna, Barb, Heather & Jackie, Jackie, Ruth, Katie, Melissa, Danielle, Darleen, Anna, Jessica, Dora, Teresa, Michelle, Regan, Mary, Danielle, Bobbie, Anna, Anne and a couple other folks who have remained anonymous.
Thank you, everyone. Thank you.

When you say the tack business is long gone, do you mean you've entirely stopped making and selling tack and don't plan to return to it? What prompted that change? I've followed your blog for a long time but didn't realize that was no longer something you were doing.
