Chicken show prizes

I love winning prizes, and nothing brings out my competitive spirit like a show that offers prizes for every single placing. I worked really hard on my entries for Danielle Feldman's Why the Chicken Crossed the Road Photo Show.

Here's the pay-off. Look at all this great stuff!

I forgot to include the rosettes in that photo, so I took another with examples of the individual placing prizes. First place was one of four different types of Starbucks drinks. Second was a pair of apples. Third was a bag of chips. There were several varieties, so I included some of each in this picture. Fourth was a pair of carrots, with and without greens. Fifth was bottled water - three different selections. Sixth was a pretzel and Honorable Mentions got Boba tea and other cold Starbucks type drinks. 

Everyone who entered got a door prize. I was hoping for Kathy Wood's chicken blanket, but instead, I won a Studio Thornrose bag filled with stablemates. I don't collect those, but they'll be perfect donations for future events. Who knows? Maybe I'll hold a photo show this summer, too!
