All dressed up

Karen was helping put some of the Blucifer costume pieces on Sage last week when inspiration struck.

"I have an idea," she exclaimed. "What if I bought a lot of dunce caps and cheese cloth and dressed on of my horses like DIA. I could wear a pilot's uniform."

"That would be amazing," I said. "Please do that."

She did it.

And it was, in fact, amazing.

Two Blucifers, one pilot and an airport.

Unfortunately, participation in the costume contest - and the party itself - was pretty light this year.

Tazz and Breezy both dressed as devils.

More red eyes!

For the actual contest, Breezy's owner, Giselle, wore wings and a halo.

Similarly, Ari's Pebble also dressed as an angel.

The prize for the best overall costume went to Steele and her family.

I missed this one almost entirely because they came to the ring early, and I was in my run dressing Sage. I hear it was pretty cute, though!

Although it would been better with more participation, this was still a fun day.

Thank you, Karen and everyone, for playing dress up with me and Sage!
