Match race

These two were best of friends...
until they let a saddle blanket come between them.
After several days of bickering, they decided to settle the ownership issue in the fairest possible way--with a rat race.
Each person chose their rat...
and the rats were escorted to the starting line.
On your marks, get set...
Go!
Nutmeg sprinted to an early lead but ran out of steam at the top of the stretch.
This allowed Peppermint to prevail in an amazing, Zenyatta-like finish.
To the victors go the spoils.
Congratulations, Team Peppermint!

  2. The rats are always good for a little comic relief! It's been a really sad couple days, so I figured it was time to break them out.

  6. You're right, the rat-race was the fairest way to decide. I hope your dolls can go back to being best friends now :)

    1. I'm pretty sure a rat race is the fairest way to settle any disagreement. Probably the funniest, too.

  7. Sorry to bother you about another model horse question, but Which model would you rather choose, Big Chex to Cash, (Breyer mold) or the retired Chubusco (Saddlebred mold. I am doing another trade and I couldn't find your e-mail, so I had to write this in comments.

Which is better for Perf. and Halter?

P.S. I have forgot to mention that the Saddlebred is mine and he already has 1st place gaited and Stallion in Novice MEPSA. "Chexy" hasn't been shown.

    1. I am happy to held however I can, but I'm really not the best person to field OF Breyer questions. I don't collect or show them, so I'm not very aware of their values or showability.

That said, I'd definitely take the Chex. I much prefer Sue Sifton's horses to Kathleen Moody's and the color of Chex is yummy!
