Silly gecko...

tack is for rodents!

First it was Cory's iguanas.  Now it's Joanna Kindley's gecko, Drake, who is muscling in on the saddle rats territory.

While the rats and iguanas are traditional scale, Drake is a mini.  Here she is modeling a Pebbles scale Australian saddle made by Jo...
and this is her looking stylish in a stablemate scale Arabian presentation set by Lisa Haley.  The halter is too small for her face so she's wearing it as a headpiece!
Rats, iguanas and geckos, oh my!  What will be the saddle critter?  Only time will tell!

  1. Haha! That's so cute! I love her smug little smile in the last photo...

  2. Hahaha!!
    So cute and funny!
    Love it!

  3. I'll have to get my tortoises to join in with the saddle-creature parade when they come out of hibernation! Brilliant pictures, cute gecko! :)

  4. Oh man, the gecko with the presentation set is fabulous! PSQ, at least!

  5. If you would just send me a saddle for Barney, you know I'd be happy to oblige! :-)

  6. Also, I'm not much of a lizard-type critter person, but that is a pretty cute gecko. I could stand to have one of those around, especially if it was as friendly as she seems to be.

  7. Oh I LOVE geckos...they are soooo cute! But don't tell my iguana sons I said that! I will definitely have to come up with something else for all of you to see very soon! In the mean time Jennifer, you can post the pics I sent you of the guanies if you want. I think you might be overrun with saddle animals if you aren't careful! LoL :)

Hope everyone has a good day,
