Thirty hours later

When inspiration hits, you just have to go with it.  Sometimes that means other things don't get done.  In the last thirty hours, my dogs have not been walked,
the kids had to find their own way to and from school,
the laundry is overflowing,
Papa Murphy made dinner,
and my studio is a disaster.
On the plus side, Marianna's saddle is finished!
There's still a bridle, breastplate and crupper to make, but I think I've earned a rest.  My friend Carol is having an adults only Easter Egg dyeing party tomorrow and I plan to attend without feeling a single twinge of guilt!

  5. Will there be a few adult beverages for you to make the eggs more interesting?

  6. I think it looks great. Did you end up sewing that seam after all?

  8. Thanks everyone.

Allie--That seam is sewn and it is probably my favorite part of the entire saddle. I ended up glueing the seat piece to the tree first and sewing the side panels on second. It was a bit tricky but that solved all the crookedness issues!
